For this rebranding for Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, I focused on a retro-celebratory vibe. This concept was inspired by the news of Italian people singing and cheering on their balconies during the Covid-19 pandemic. I want to show the energy of the people, emphasize on the idea of celebration and with a vintage color palette that connects to the rich local history.
The Olympic Games have been held for many years, but the younger generation nowadays is paying less attention to events like this. I want to create a more welcoming branding to attract more younger audiences.
The Olympics pursues for a greater goods of humanity; I believe its design should keep up with this idea and be more impactful.
